Do you know what your child is watching?
You probably already know that monitoring all the media that your child is exposed to everyday is overwhelming. Websites attempt to use online "parental controls" to filter based on age, but these simple filters do not "guarantee" that the messages in the media your child is watching is appropriate.
Do you prescreen everything your child watches or sees online to be sure that they are not exposed to inappropriate content? Do you have enough time and the resources to preview and verify the value and quality of each video? We do, and we take your child’s online safety to the next level.
Why is our kids' online safety
so important?
With so much online content available, and the volume growing every day, it’s hard to differentiate what is beneficial/better for your children and what can be "harmful". Studies show that 52% of 4-6 year olds use a computer without sitting with a parent, 43% of children under the age of two watch video every day and kids 2-7 spend over 3.5 hours on average using media each day. Time spent online among children aged 2-11 increased 63% in the last five years, from 7 hours in 2004 to more than 11 hours online in 2009. With these numbers constantly growing, Kidobi focuses on building an environment where kids are safe to watch and interact with online media, in a safe and educational way.
